Adventures in Ink - Throwback Thursday - March 6, 2025

Well, hello there, Greetings from Adventures in Ink, a NEW comic book store in Leander, Texas - NOW OPEN!

Remember Throwback Thursdays? I'm going to do a version where I share a recommendation for a previously published comic or comic book series that I think most people would really dig.

So, our first Throwback Thursday title is Legion Lost. Almost 25 years ago, DC Comics decided to simplify and reboot The Legion of Super-Heroes series that were going on at the time.

The initial story tells about The Blight, and how they're spreading across the universe, and it's up to the Legion of Superheroes to save the day.

Which they do.

But they get blown up.

Or do they?

They do not.

Instead a group of Legionnaires are scattered to an uncharted section of the universe and have to make their way home.

Legion Lost is a great story that doesn't really require you to know a lot about the backstory and continuity of The Legion of Super-Heroes. Does it help? Yeah, but you can still enjoy the story even if you don't know the different between Element Lad and Triplicate Girl. Check it out if you get a chance.
