April 16, 2025 - TOP 3 PICKS - NCBD

Happy Wednesday! Happy #ncbd. There's a lot of cool titles on the shelves today, so as you head off to you local LCS (hint, hint) make sure to check out these titles.

My TOP 3 PICKS for this week are:

1. Summer of Superman Special #1 from DC Comics. This special sets the stage for some great looking Superman stories, and it has some ties to the Absolute Universe and last year's DC All In Special. So make sure you don't skip this issue if you've been sucked in by the mystery of the Absolute Universe.

2. New Gods #5 from DC Comics. I've been enjoying the New Gods since issue #1. This issue features a lot of cool stuff that I can't really get into without spoiling several plot points, but it's been a really good series. Very tight storytelling and great art.

3. Ultimate Wolverine #4 from Marvel. The last couple of issues of Ultimate Wolverine have teased a couple of things from his past, this issue has a big reveal, and it seems like things are starting to tick up and the tension is building.
