April 2, 2025 - TOP 3 PICKS - New Comic Book Day

Hello there,

Happy NCBD (New Comic Book Day)! Or, as I call it, the Single Best of the Week.

Lot's of new stuff on the shelves from Marvel, Dark Horse Comics, and IDW Publishing.

I haven't received the shipment from Lunar Distribution, so I don't have any DC, Image, or other publishers. That's a bummer. The latest update from UPS is those comics will arrive between 12pm-2pm.

Still, I was able to put together a TOP 3 PICKS, and I think you'll dig it.

1. Miles Morales: Spider-Man #32 from Marvel. Do you like Spider-Man? Do you like Gods (Thor, Hercules, etc)? Do you like super heroes and gods teaming up to fight other gods in a contest to fight each other? Well, this issue starts a new story arc: "God War." Looks pretty dope.

2. Godzilla: Heist #2 from Dark Horse Comics. An idea so crazy and outlandish, it could only be told in comics. Continue the story of a gang using Godzilla to help in their criminal activity.

3. Daredevil: Cold Day in Hell #1 from Marvel. Matt Murdock is older and retired from his days as Daredevil. So, what could possibly happen to get him to put on the costume and go out into the night? You'll have to read it to find out.
