April 23, 2025 - TOP 3 PICKS - NEW COMIC BOOK DAY

Happy Wednesday! Happy New Comic Book Day! YAY! It's finally here!

There's a lot of great titles on the shelf this week. Normally, I have a TOP 3 PICKS, but today I'm going to do a TOP 4 PICK because one of the titles is a "You've-Gotta-See-It-To-Believe-It".

1. Magik #4 from Marvel. This title continues to impress. Illyanna is doing her thing, but her friends and foes have different plans and schemes in the works.

2. Absolute Martian Manhunter #2 from DC Comics. Mysteries deepen. The writing and art on this issue are top notch. It's worth checking out even if you're not a Martian Manhunter fan.

3. Predator vs. Spider-Man from Marvel. Spider-Man is the latest target of a Predator with an interesting moniker that they live up to. I like the issue, but it is definitely not for kids. There's a reason the Predator is named "Skinner".

4. G.I. Joe #6 from Image Comics and Skybound Entertainment. This is it. This is the issue where everything you wanted to come together comes together. I kid you not, there are several jaw-dropping panels that are going to blow your mind.
