It's #FlashbackFriday, so let's take a look at the first run of the New Warriors from Marvel. Making their debut in the pages of Thor in a battle between the God of the Thunder and the Juggernaut, the New Warriors burst onto the scene with some old familiar faces and new ones.

The team featured veterans like Nova, Marvel Boy, Firestar, Namorita, and new characters like Speedball and Night Thrasher. Night Thrasher was the leader of the group and didn't have any particular super-powers other than armor, uzis, blades, and a skateboard...it was the 90s.

The first 25 issues covered an overarching storyline involving secrets, betrayals, and DEATH!
