August 6, 2025 - TOP 3 Picks - New Comic Book Day

Hey there, Adventurers! It's a fantastic Wednesday and New Comic Book Day. There's plenty of cool stuff on the shelves to pick from, so come out to Adventures in Ink and get your stories!
My Top 3 Picks for this week are:
1. Captain America #2 from Marvel. I've been liking this new run of Captain America as he tries to figure out his place in the new world. Definitely worth picking up today.
2. Godzilla: Escape from the Deadzone from IDW Publishing. One the new Godzilla titles, this one features a radioactive wasteland, mutants, and giant monsters. Not really a kid book, but older audiences will like it.
3. Daredevil: A Cold Day in Hell #3 from Marvel. Issue #3 wraps up this "Old Man Daredevil" type of story with a pretty satisfactory ending. There's definitely a lot of, "Oh man, I can't believe that happened" or "Finally!"
