August 7, 2025 - Throwback Thrusday - The Fantastic Four vs. The X-Men

Hey there, Adventurers! I hope your Thursday is off to a good start. It's time for a #ThrowbackThursday, so let's take a look back at The Fantastic Four vs. The X-Men.

The four issue mini-series follows the events from the Mutant Massacre in which several X-Men were wounded and had their powers affected. In the case of Kitty Pryde, Shadowcat, she got stuck in her phased state and couldn't become solid.

As her injuries got worse, her phasing power started to cause her to become non-corporeal as her molecules spread further and further apart. The X-Men were looking for a cure and turned to the Fantastic Four.

Unfortunately, Mr. Fantastic was suffering a crisis of faith and trust as were the other members of the Fantastic Four when a lost journal of Reed's is discovered and implicates that he may have purposely caused the accident that gave the Fantastic Four their powers and has been lying about it.

And then there's Dr. Doom in the middle of it all.

It's a great story and definitley worth checking out.
