December 24, 2025 - TOP 3 PICKS - New Comic Book Day

Hey there, Adventurers! It's New Comic Book Day and Christmas Eve - on the same day! The shop's open till 1PM this afternoon, so make sure to get down here and pick up your comics. 

Reminder, the shop will be closed tomorrow, December 25.

Here are my TOP 3 PICKS for this week.

1. Absolute Superman 14 from DC Comics. Finally, Superman and Ra's face off not only for the fate of Smallville, but also the fate and destiny of Superman. This issue highlights a lot of the characteristics that make Superman who he is and the final page is definitely a gut punch.

2. Green Lantern #30 from DC Comics. Green Lantern teams up with Batman to stop a threat, but the main line in this issue is the relationship between GL and Batman. They've always had a rocky view of each other since Hal returned in Green Lantern: Rebirth, and this issue delves into that and reveals that maybe the two of them are more alike than they are different.

3. DC K.O. Red Hood vs The Joker. These two have faced off before in various versions and incarnations. However, this issue offers some insight into Jason Todd and has a kind carthritic feel to it that feels like a turning of the page and a start to a new chapter.
