January 2, 2025 - New Comic Book Day - TOP 3 PICKS

Happy New Year! Happy 2nd day of 2025! Happy New Comic Book Day. For some, it's #NCBD, for others it's the day after NCBD depending of if your shop was closed or not for New Year's.

I hope you're year is off to a good start. Let's check out my Top 3 Picks for this wonky week.

1. Deadpool/Wolverine 1 from Marvel. This issue is just full of 90's comic "goodness" from the guest stars to the plot to the villain reveal on the last page. If you like/liked the 90s, pick this up.

2. The Ultimates 8 from Marvel. This issue introduces the Guardians of the Galaxy for the Ultimate Universe and drop a ton of questions and mysteries that I really need answers to.

3. Absolute Superman 3 from DC Comics. So, for a couple of issues, the demise of Krypton has been hinted at and touched on. This issue really gets into the events leading up to Krypton's destruction and the conspiracy behind it.
