January 8, 2025 - TOP 3 PICKS - NEW COMIC BOOK DAY

Well hello there,

Happy New Comic Day for January 8, 2025. What better day to have a stack of comics than a day where the high is 33 degrees. So, bundle up, get into your favorite reading position, and let's see what's on the TOP 3 PICKS this week.

1. Magik 1 from Marvel. If the rest of the storyline keeps up with this first issue, I think Marvel may have something really neat here. There are some great moments in this issue, and Magik is more than capable of holding her own against the bad guys. Definitely check this out.

2. Transformers 16 from Image Comics and Skybound Entertainment. Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, believe me when I say this, Transformers is one of the best titles out right now. It's been a wild ride since issue #1, and it continues here with a jaw-dropping last page image (#nospoilers)

3. Absolute Batman #4 from DC Comics. This issue takes a little break from the main story and fills in some of the background about this version of Bruce Wayne. It still keeps the tension, drama, and action dialed up.
