Happy Thursday! It's time for a #ThrowbackThursday, and let's take a look at DC Comics Wednesday Comics.

Wednesday Comics was a 12 issue limited series that DC put out in 2009. The gimmick was the comics were printing in a newsaper format. The actual comic book arrived folded pretty much in quarters. The reader would unfold it, not unlike unfolding a newspaper, and read it.

The cool thing was that since it was a newspaper format, when the comic was laid out, it was the size of an actual newspaper. It was a pretty cool thing, and the series featured stories that highlighted DC's popular characters like Superman, Batman, and Green Lantern. It also featured some lesser known characters like Metal Men, Kamandi, and Metamorpho.
