June 5, 2025 - Throwback Thursday - Action Comics #775

Hello there, Happy Thursday! I hope your day, week, month is going well. It's time for a #ThrowbackThursday. Today, let's take a look at Action Comics #775 from DC Comics. The title on the comic asks, "What's so funny 'bout Truth, Justice, and the American Way?"

The conflict in the issue comes from a new superhero team called The Elite and their aggressive leader Manchester Black. This team believes in dishing out the ultimate justice to others in the most extreme manner possible. Superman, however, thinks there's a better way to do things, and, naturally, the two sides come into conflict. I don't want to go to much into it because I don't want to give away any spoilers.

The issues is really well done with exciting and dynamic art. When someone says that Superman is borning, show them this issue. By the time they get to the end, they won't think Superman is boring. That's it for this #ThrowbackThursday.
