Happy Thursday! Or if you had leg day yesterday, then happy Th-Sore-Day! Ha! I kill me sometimes.

Let's do a #ThrowbackThursday and check out a comic event, series, or issue for a while ago. A couple of weeks back, I shared details about a thing called a "5th Week Event".

A "Fifth Week Event" happened when a month, for whatever reason, had a full five weeks instead of four. Since most publishers only plan on four weeks, that extra week meant they needed something to ship out. Hence the "Fifth Week Event".

I previously shared DC Comics "Tangent Comics". This week, let's take a look at Marvel's "Marvels Comic Group" Comics. The gimmick behind these comics was the premise of, "What would superhero comics look like in a world of superheroes?"

Marvel did a series of One-Shots where they showed what a Spider-Man comic would be like if you bought Spider-Man comics in the Marvel Universe where Spider-Man actually existed. It was a pretty cool concept.

Very meta - I think I'm using "meta" right in this context.
