May 7, 2025 - TOP 3 PICKS - New Comic Book Day

Hello there,

It's Wednesday! The most glorious of glorious days for it is the Day of New Comics! That's right, New Comic Book Day is here! As you embark on your journeys, here are some titles to keep an eye out for and pick up:

1. Ultimate Wolverine #5 from Marvel. Yeah, I know that I recommended #4 a couple of weeks ago, but this one features an all-out brawl of brutality between Ultimate Wolverine and a very familiar face.
2. Mouse Guard: Dawn of the Black Axe #2 from BOOM! Studios. Mouse Guard has always been, is always, and will always be a great story. Don't pass this series up. It's as good as everyone says it is.
3. Blood and Thunder from Image Comics. It's a great sci-fi story of a girl and her talking gun. Great action and humor. The art is great and the story is pretty rockin'. It'll be interesting to see where it goes.

There's a ton of great titles on the shelf today. Come on by and check it all out!
