October 1, 2025 - TOP 3 PICKS - New Comic Book Day

Hey there, Adventurers! Happy Wednesday! It's #NCBD, and there is some cool, very cool stuff on the shelves this week. The Absolute DC Universe has three titles out this week including the Absolute Evil One-Shot, which is absolutely evil.

It was hard to pick a TOP 3, but here we go:

1. Venom 250 from Marvel. The fallout from the previous issues and reveals continue to be felt and dealt with as well as a massive looming threat on the horizon.

2. Amazing Spider-Man 13 from Marvel. I just really enjoyed this solid issue of Spider-Man. The writing is top and the art is great. This was an overall great issue.

3. Rook Exodus 7 from Image Comics and Ghost Machine. This was probably the one book that I was most excited about. The first six issues of Rook Exodus were great, and I really enjoyed the story. This second arc looks to be even bigger than before, so I'm definitely excited to see where it goes.
