October 8, 2025 - TOP 3 PICKS - New Comic Book Day

Hey there, Adventurers!

I hope your week is going well. Happy #ncbd (New Comic Book Day!). There's a lot of cool new titles and chapters of your favorite stories on the shelves today.

Here's my TOP 3 PICKS for this week!

1. DC KO #1 from DC Comics. If you ever want to know what it's like to read a movie, this would be the issue to experience. Very cinematic story telling that makes the comic feel like a movie going experience. Lots of cool twists and swerves. I'm really digging the matchups and can't wait to see how it all goes.

2. C.O.R.T. - Children of the Round Table #2 from DC Comics. This is a cool young kid/young teen adventures story. It reminds me of movies like The Explorers, The Goonies, or other movies where kids go on a big adventure.

3. Transformers #25 from Skybound Entertainment and Image Comics. The new creative team starts with this issue, and it's a hit the ground running take off issue. Lots of teases of upcoming events and stories that are like, "Oh man, I can't wait to see how this plays out!"
