September 18, 2025 - Throwback Thursday - Deadpool #11-#13 "Dark Reign"

Hey there, Adventurers! Happy Thursday! It's time for a new episode of #ThrowbackThursday, and I came across a cool little story from one of the volumes of #Deadpool.

The story takes place after #SecretInvasion during the Dark Reign phase of the Marvel Universe when Norman Osborn was in charge of everything. Osborn also had a list of people he wanted eliminated or removed, so they wouldn't be around to mess up his plans. One of those folks was Deadpool.

At the time, Osborn had assembled his Dark Avengers who were some of the worse villains took over the roles of some heroes. For example, Daken pretended to be Wolverine, Moonstone dressed up as Carol Danvers, and Bullseye took up the Hawkeye persona, and it was #bullseye that Norman sent to take care of Deadpool.

Over the next couple of issues Bullseye and Deadpool go after each other in increasingly brutal and funny (if that's the right word for it) ways. The humor is pretty dark, but it's very much in line with what you'd expect in a Deadpool comic - you may even recognize a certain scene from the comic that made it's way to the screen.
