Well, Hello there!

Yes, yes. It’s been a while since I added a new entry to this fledgling blog. I think a little context is needed. Back in February, my unemployment insurance expired, and I still didn’t have a full time job. I was driving for Uber, selling stuff on EBay, and working part time at a retail store. Still though, I wasn’t making much headway with finances, and I decided that I would try substitute teaching. Well, long story short, a substitute teaching assignment turned in to a, “the-teacher-left-and-we-need-someone-to-finish-the-year-and-since-you’re-certified-do-you-want-the-job”. You know, as things are want to do, right?
So, I took the position, and I’ve been teaching junior English for the last couple of months which didn’t leave a lot of extra time to do other things like write blogs and stuff. But the school year is coming to an end, and I have a little more time for things like this.
Well, what’s been going on for the last few weeks? Well, a whole heck of a lot actually.
- Adventures in Ink has reformed into Inked Adventures LLC. The store will still be called Adventures in Ink.
- The website is up and running with actual comics you can purchase including the 1st appearances of Ghost Rider (Johnny Blaze) and Sabretooth.
- The Facebook Business page for Adventures in Ink is live. We’ve been making a couple of posts each week.
- A lot of our technology infrastructure is set up and activated.
- Several sites have been located that will make excellent locations.
Oh, yeah. We got the funding to open! I won’t go into specifics because it makes me nauseous and sick to think about it, but I’m also really pumped and excited because this is really going to be a great space for people.
More details are coming soon. Check out Facebook for pictures from our first site visit of a potential retail location.
